    Default SAS Scandinavian DC-9 LN-RLK 1:125 scale.

Hey guys, just thought i would share photos of my SAS Scandinavian build which i completed a few weeks ago now.. The model kit is the Heller 1:125 scale, and the decals are the original SAS LN-RLK DC-9. I also made the model with moving flaps.
It was a great kit to work with. The parts were a snug fit, and the instructions were easy to read, even tho they were in French lol.
I purchased the weathering stick, but still havnt had time. Hopefully this weekend i will give her the old used worked look.
    So here she is, LN-RLK..

That's a really nice model John. Actually flew in one of these from Heathrow to Copenhagen. Personally I don't like to "weather" models, much prefer them in showroom condition. I think I made Wooster version which has been hiding in the loft for years so will probably come out looking weathered whether I like it or not. pot

Thanks for the comment Mike. I must admit, weathering is not my thing also. But seeing that i made the model with flaps down, i thought i would give it the working look.

I was advised whem I got my set that less is more, so dont get too carried away with it, and it should come up looking pretty good I think.
As it has flaps down, a oily sooty light smearing effect should look great. I use the weatehering sponge brush medium by tamiya, bout $6.50 ish. and alse the one that comes in the 3 colour set.

I purchased the one that you showed me in the email Steve. It has 3 colours. Will post the pics, when it is completed.
