    I did read a report on that landing, some undercarriage damage was sustained and the aircraft was u/s for a while. The pilots really should have gone around especially at that airport where there is only limited runway length available. They were very lucky to have gotten away with that one. Wellington airport in New Zealand is a shocker for windy-dangerous landings, worth checking out on you tube.

    Yep, they certainly have a lot of wind down London. ( no offence meant to any Londoners)
